If you ever get to the point where enough is enough—where your mind, your emotions, and your soul just can’t continue—don’t turn to your ego and its will to figure out what to do. That will only bring further frustration. Instead, find peace within yourself and the wisdom as to what to do by turning it over to God’s Presence within you.
It is said, “Man plans. God laughs.” That is a great spiritual truth, because ultimately all that is or can be is under the power of the Supreme Universal Intelligence that is God. Remember that God’s plans are based on unlimited awareness of all things. Man’s plans—which are of the ego—are not.
How can you advance your life and make it better? Tune into a higher frequency of energy, with its corresponding wisdom, knowingness, and creativity. The way to do that is to meditate on God’s Inner Presence each day, turning over your false personal ego identity to the Universal part of your mind.
Bad attitudes, which lead to failure, come from a false sense of ego identity. Good attitudes, which lead to success, come from your true identity—God’s Presence within yourself. To live a successful life, then, you should give up your false sense of identity to your true identity—and do it daily.
Nothing will change in your life unless you change. And if you do attempt change, it will be limited if the change is influenced by your ego. However, if you turn over your ego to God’s Presence within you, God will make all the changes in your consciousness that are necessary for improving your life.
At one time or another, your presence on this earth will bring love and happiness into the lives of others. It is the greatest of all fulfillments. If you have had this in your life, be thankful to God, for it is God’s Presence of love and happiness within you that was channeled through you to others.
As you live your life, love can take on many expressions, from the passion of youth to the simple but meaningful expressions of love in the elderly. Be thankful to God’s Presence within you for giving you the experience of love in your life—to feel it, express it, and share it. For God is love.
