We live in one eternal moment of time, where past, present, and future exist simultaneously. That means that what will be, already is. So when it comes to health and healing, instead of thinking, “I will be well some day,” affirm the mystical reality: “In God’s One Eternal Moment of Time I am already well!”
Most people believe their identity is the role they are acting out on the stage of life—whether it’s winner or loser, loved or unloved, victor or victim, etc. Your real identity, however, is none of those. Only when you have found and live your true soul’s identity—and its oneness with God—will you find lasting fulfillment in life.
The source of goodness within us all is God’s Presence. When you are a blessing to others, it is actually God’s Presence in you blessing God’s Presence in them. Since “he who gives also receives,” when you are a blessing to others, God’s response is to also bless you.
The Voice of the Silence is the result of one’s inner quest to have a direct conscious experience of God’s Presence. As you give up your false ego sense of identity, the mind becomes stiller, leading eventually to the Silence. In silent awareness, thinking is replaced with God’s knowingness.
Your personal ego sense of identity is simply not in a position to keep up with the rapid changes in today’s world, resulting in a great deal of stress—even burnout. The solution is learning how to replace your ego identity with the unlimited, flexible, adaptable, and creative Presence of God within you.
You can find occasional inspiration in your life through the consciousness of your personal ego, but it is usually temporary or fleeting. Living an inspired life that is sustainable and consistent can only come from God’s Presence within you, which will direct you in ways to satisfy your soul’s purpose—the greatest source for living an inspired life.
In today’s world, being self-sustaining is becoming a necessity. Realize, however, that your false ego identity is conditioned to being helped by others or by outside sources. To really be self-sustaining, you must awaken to your True Self, which is one with God’s All-Knowing, All-Powerful Presence.
