Dr. Gala Gorman holds advanced degrees in human development, is a holistic life coach, minister and published author of the Spiritual Approach™ series of books focused on practical spirituality. As she calls it “her former life” includes earning a dual major in business with an emphasis on accounting and finance. She is a licensed CPA… though these days she only applies her accounting acumen to her own entrepreneurial endeavors.
In the late 1990s, after leaving the accounting firm she co-founded, she was consulting and coaching to businesses while completing a Master’s Degree in Human Development. Inspired by her graduate studies, she authored articles and books on holistic methods for solving both personal and business difficulties. She gained popularity as a teacher, speaker and coach, by sharing the methods that she had used successfully over the years. One thing led to another, and she completed her doctoral studies in 2004 through the University of Sedona.
As a student of Eastern and Western philosophy, she works to infuse a blend of the best of both worlds into her work and life. Dr. Gala focuses on creating tools and techniques that make recovery (primarily from addiction and traumatic life experiences) quick, easy… and even fun. She takes a significantly different, holistic, approach in her work whether she’s dealing with someone in active addiction or well down the road to recovery. She believes that addiction is just a symptom of an underlying cause… a temporary and reversible malfunction of the brain. Heal the underlying cause, and the symptom goes away.
You will regularly hear Dr. Gala say, “It’s the business of your life… and you’re the CEO.”
