Dr. Masters says that first you have to let go of any ideas that are sabotaging your ability to increase your earning power. For one, you have to stop telling yourself that you have to be poor, even if more and more people around you are suffering from lack. You don’t have to be one of those people. The choice is yours. You also have to let go of the idea that you must have a formal education to increase your earning power, or that you are too old or too young to do so. The potential to increase your earning power is inside of you, regardless of your age or education. It lies in the Consciousness of God that resides in the center of your mind.

- Increase: To increase my earning potential, I draw upon the infinite resources of my own Universal God Mind.

- Guidance: Each day I affirm that I am receiving divine guidance from the God part of my mind for setting up my goals as to how I will increase my earnings, and then I act on that guidance.
