Rev. Chris Anama-Green discovered metaphysics during a rather unhappy time in his life. Yet, as he began to learn more about meditation and Universal Law, he began to see that New Thought principles could help him transform his life for the better. Now, years after his first taste of metaphysics, he can joyfully share it by applying New Thought spiritual principles he learned to manifest a happy, fulfilling, and spirit-filled life.
As an avid traveler and language enthusiast, it is a joy for Chris to meet new people and share spiritual practices with others from many backgrounds and spiritual traditions. A language teacher by training, he believes learning another language is a powerful way to develop intercultural understanding that cultivates compassion and kindness.
Chris is also a New Thought teacher/coach, a traditional Usui Reiki Master, and a published author. His first children’s book, Mikao’s Journey: The Story of Reiki, was released in 2017, and his forthcoming book, Mastering Peace, will be in bookstores soon. Other metaphysical titles for both kids and adults are in the works as well. Chris also edits and writes for the Appalachian Meditations blog, www.appmeditations.com, which promotes conversation about spirituality in Appalachia.
In addition to earning a Doctor of Metaphysical Science, Msc.D.; Master of Metaphysical Science, M.Msc.; and Bachelor of Metaphysical Science, B.Msc.; from the University of Metaphysics, Chris is an ordained metaphysical minister, having received his ordination and practitioner diploma from the International Metaphysical Ministry University Seminary. He has an undergraduate degree in biology and Spanish, and graduate degrees in health and education. He lives and works in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains with his spouse and lots of furry and aquatic pets.
