“War and Peace—A Mystical Perspective”
Souls who wish peace on earth—in order to enjoy what peace has to offer to themselves and to those they love—dream of peace on this planetary dimension. In the history of this earth plane, there have been times of peace depending on one’s geographical location; and, thus, a person might idealize that permanent, lasting peace is possible.
Were it only so!
With mystical awareness comes the knowing that on this earth plane, it will never be so. This is a plane of existence whose very existence is based on dualism or opposites. There is hot and cold, pleasure or pain, love or loneliness. So, should it not then follow, that there is also war and peace?
This is a plane of existence that is a landing place for souls who are caught up in conflicts within themselves, and thus incarnate into an environment that is in harmony with the turmoil within themselves. Not being at a point in spiritual awakening where they can deal with the inner demons that plague their souls, they are easy recruits to project inner conflicts into environmental conflicts or wars.
Of course, there are souls who wish only peace to prevail; but, because of the peace that is part of their natures, they fail to stop the world’s war tyrants until those tyrants have acquired sufficient force, momentum, and followers to do harm to non-aggressive souls.
On this earth plane, as night follows day, war follows peace. This does not only occur in the earth plane, but other dimensions of existence, as well. Wherever there is duality, souls who are in conflict will incarnate where dualism or conflict is inevitable.
It all started when souls fell from Oneness and became personal ego identities—not only disassociated from God, but also from each other. It was the breeding ground for dualistic manifestations, opposites, opposite sides—and thus, wars.
No soul can find lasting peace on this earth plane of existence, which thus magnifies the mystics’ credo—that the only way out, is in. Peace that is lasting can only be found in the Eternal peace that is ONENESS, or GOD within oneself. What can one do in this world of inevitable conflicts?
For the few souls who are ready to know and act, teach, teach, teach that the only way out, is in. This dissolves the cycle of birth and rebirth onto this earth plane of existence or other similar planes, and elevates one even beyond the planes where Gods and Goddesses exist—for, yes, even they have their conflicts.
Yes, there is that Existence of the Highest Souls, where souls are so close to God, it could be said that every breath they breathe is God’s breath, where all is Eternal Oneness, Love—PEACE.
