Alecia Rodriguez, Ph.D., MFT, MHC, CSOT, holds a Doctor of Philosophy, specializing in Conscious Centered Living, from the University of Sedona and a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Metaphysical Science from the University of Metaphysics. Dr. Rodriguez also holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling with specializations in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marital, Couples, and Family Therapy.
Dr. Rodriguez is a psychotherapist with expertise in trauma and anxiety in young children and teens. She guides clients through their thoughts and behaviors while empowering them to take control of their lives. Her strengths-based, person-centered approach supports individuals and couples on their personal journeys.
Dr. Rodriguez works with individuals, couples, juvenile sex offenders, adult sex offenders, at-risk youth, and community partners throughout the state of Florida. She is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment that leads to positive development and the attainment of personal goals.
Dr. Rodriguez started writing in order to share the tools she teaches individuals and families in therapy with a wider audience. She writes books that support parents and educators in nurturing mindful, socially, and emotionally aware children. She speaks with parents, schools, and other audiences to share information about effective mental health information.
Dr. Rodriguez is the author of four children’s books:

- Geoffrey’s little lie is festering inside. As he sits with his thoughts, he realizes how dishonesty can hurt and how happy being honest makes him and others.

- Feelings of anxiety can overwhelm us. When we know what it looks and feels like, we can overcome these feelings by learning how to manage them.
- Take Me With You
- When Lilly’s mother leaves for work, Lilly pleads to tag along. Lilly values the moments they share and the special bond that keeps them together, even when they are apart.
- Are You Divorcing Me Too?
- Brea’s life is forever changed when her mother drives off in the middle of the night, leaving Brea and her father behind. When she is told that her parents are getting divorced, she hatches a plan to mend the broken pieces of her family.
