Description
Father’s Day, Mysticism, and You: Over the course of his lifetime of service, Dr. Masters presented a large number of inspirational lectures during his Sunday services. Almost all of them began with a meditation or healing treatment, after which he presented a teaching that included a set of affirmation statements.
In this lecture, Dr. Masters points out that God has traditionally been seen as a masculine figure, and is thus equated with fatherhood. But as we grow in our spiritual understanding, we realize that God embodies both masculine and feminine energy, and manifests as the various aspects of both. Father’s Day, then, is simply a time when we specifically celebrate the masculine energy that exists in God and throughout all of nature—which includes ourselves, regardless of whether we are male or female.
Affirmations for “Father’s Day, Mysticism, and You” are:
- Mysticism: Throughout the entirety of my body, mind, and soul, I accept my oneness with the Universal Mind/Spirit of God’s Presence within me.
- Meditation: Through my daily practice of meditation, I contact the Presence of God at the innermost center of consciousness within me, which contains the fatherhood, masculine energy of the Universe.
- Power: The fatherhood, masculine energy of the Universe within me is expressed through my physical fatherhood as physical, mental, and spiritual power.
Assertiveness: Through the fatherhood, masculine energy of God within me, I assert this energy to accomplish my soul’s purpose in this lifetime. - Logic and Reason: My ability to be logical and to reason is energized by God’s fatherhood, masculine energy working through my conscious mind.
- Protector: My natural masculine instinct to protect those I love is energized by God’s fatherhood, masculine energy present in my body, mind, and soul.
- Will: I turn over my personal will to God’s Will of masculine, fatherhood energy to powerize my efforts to express the attributes of physical fatherhood.
