Rev. Angela Airall creates, merges, studies and diagnoses systems with an intuitive gift of seeing the unseen, speaking the unspeakable and knowing the unknown. As a member of the Celebrant Foundation and Institute and the AGAPE World Community and as an Associate Licentiate of the United Metaphysical Congregation, Angela performs weddings, engagement, vow renewals, retreats, and speaking engagements on change and transformation.
For the last 30 years she has designed, created, choreographed and facilitated small, medium and large-scale ceremonies in organizations worldwide. The ceremonies she designed through the lens of Organizational Change have touched the lives of thousands and each represented the passages of change that individuals, teams, families, groups and societies move through as we are constantly shifting from the known to the unknown and back, always forming a new beginning, a new system, a new family dynamic or rebirthing a new dream on our journey.
With a Masters in Marketing, a MBA degree in Organizational Development and attending Harvard Business School, she brings precision and flair to capture a larger vision of strategic change. She has worked as a change agent in Johnson and Johnson, CINergy, The Efficacy Institute, The Girl Scouts of America, Inc., academia including Duke University, Duke Medicine, Educational Testing Service (ETS) and the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL).
Angela’s passion in executive coaching, couples coaching, life coaching and spiritual intuitive coaching is igniting dreams in others. Weaving two companies through a merger, building start-up companies from scratch, increasing trust in teams that need to work together in harmony and criss-crossing the globe to help leaders orchestrate relationships and transitions of life and death proportions equipped her to become a successful transformational coach.
Angela affirms transformations for others and has lived life embodying the belief of “Leap and the Net Will Appear.”
Rev. Angela celebrates the vitality of “differences” in a couple’s marriage or engagement and make them ONE using the same techniques that organizations use to manage, value and embrace diversity. However, together with grace and sacred ritual, she has discovered that where two or more are gathered together, there can be unquenchable love and growth and wisdom and spark!
Enlightened Ceremonies builds on her 30 years of experience in creating sacred ceremonies and retreats for leaders, organizations, teams and families to heal and celebrate life’s journeys together. Most recently, she designed and led the Duke Leadership Academy and executive coaching for Duke Medicine Chancellor’s Medical Program (C-CHAMP).
When two people choose to join together, it’s a personal and cherished decision. She crafts ceremonies that are just as personal – laying a meaningful foundation for your partnership and your future. Every aspect of the ceremony — language, readings, music and symbolism — reflects you, your betrothed, and the bond that you share. The event unfolds as an authentic expression of your spirit and your values – one that you and your loved ones will remember for a lifetime.
Angela is skilled at both creating and officiating custom-designed wedding, commitment and vow renewal ceremonies. Your ceremony can be non-denominational, spiritual, religious, intercultural, interfaith, secular, civil or alternative.
When she designs and officiates your ceremony, or assists you in writing your own, she loves to suggest rituals best suited to you by drawing on my knowledge of the rich wedding customs from around the world (such as Hand Fasting or Jumping the Broom). She can help you choose the right music, songs and readings, whether your taste is traditional, contemporary, or unique to you.
Angela is excited to create new ceremonial expressions and to adapt old ones in new ways for you. She particularly enjoys helping couples with their wedding vows. You might choose to write your own (she is happy to help), or you can choose from a wide selection of sample vows.
She serves the needs of clients through executive coaching and leadership development offering breakthrough results to individuals, couples, teams, families, communities, congregations and organizations to heal, unleash their fullest potential and align purpose, culture, vision and values.
When unions don’t work well, Angela helps organizations heal after traumas and global disasters bringing ceremony to its most sacred space for organizational healing. This is the same spirit she applies to working with couples and families facing divorce to allow healing and create new life patterns, especially for the children.
As she embraces these boundaries, it’s the spirit of humankind that causes her to know the heart of a leader in the corner C-suite office space or a couple in the halo of glowing face to face intimacy. Each move from the unknown to the known, exposing their vulnerabilities and blindspots, taking off their mask and her gift is to support you in your dance of change with more grace and ease.
Angela is an Ordained, Non-Denominational and Interfaith Minister and a Certified Life Cycle Celebrant; earning her Diploma in Marriage Celebrancy through the Celebrant Foundation and Institute. Additionally, she is a doctoral candidate at the University of Sedona. Her dissertation will reflect her belief in the core of who she is becoming, the intersection and embodiment of a business leader and spiritual seeker.
She also dedicates her time to the Joe Niekro Foundation for patients and their families who request counseling before and after surgery.
Clients describe Angela as fun to work with, extremely joyful about life, innovative and engaging. All beliefs, traditions, lifestyles and religions are honored and respected her work. Serving Research Triangle Park areas (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill), North Carolina and Destination Ceremonies.
